About the California Film Commission

Members of the Board
The California Film Commission works to enhance the economic climate in California by keeping film industry jobs and projects in the state. The Commission has an advisory board of 21 members appointed by the Governor, Senate Pro Tem and Speaker of the Assembly. There are several ex-officio commissioners.
